The south capital of Baviera federal state is famous for its
quality of life. In summer people meet in mythical "the Biergarten"
(beer gardens) to enjoy in group. By the nights in the old district of

Oktoberfest (celebration of the beer), the most famous celebration of Munich, begins the last week of September. From Munich it turns out very advisable to cross the Alps or to visit the

authentic attraction throughout the year. Soccer is also important in
the city of the Isar river, and its main equipment, the Bayern de
Munich, is the club with the most victories in Bundesliga, the German soccer league.

The image of Munich is a colorful mix between old and modern
thing. The most emblematic monuments of the city are the Church
barroca of the Two Towers, the Theatinerkirche, in the Feldherrnhalle;
the Maximilianeum, seat of the Bavarian Parliament, located in the
shore of the Isar river; and finally, but not the less important, the
modern building of the automobile company BMW and the cover of the
constructed Olympic stage for the Olympic games of 1972. After the
visit to the museums and a stroll by the city is worth the trouble to
pass itself by a beer to refresh a little. Munich is well-known
like the city of beer, and the party that celebrates it, the
Oktoberfest, has a long tradition.
